Thank you for your interest in our Freshman Mentoring Program.  Mentoring can be a  personally rewarding experience and one that benefits the entire school community.  We look forward to your contribution.  Print and return both completed forms (1 and 2) to the Guidance Office.

1.     Why do you want to become a Freshman Mentor? What should we know about you?

2.     Discuss qualities or strengths you would bring to your role as a mentor.  What for you would present the most challenge?

3.    Share your own experience of being mentored by someone in your life. (ie, parent, coach, teacher, or friend.) How did/does this person mentor you?

4.     Describe how you would work with someone whose personality or learning style is very different from your own.  For example, your student is very shy and quiet while you might be outgoing and talkative.
